Triple Fretted Clavichord This instrument is based on the original instrument Zuckermann Harpsichords has adapted for their KOS instruments. My instrument is made completely from scratch (even the tangents) from the original drawings by David Way. My instrument has hand-cut dovetail joints and the keys are covered with my favorite combo of maple and walnut (also my favorite ice cream cone).

The instrument is covered with real silver leaf which I allowed to tarnish a bit in order to suggest some aging. The entire instrument was aged a bit actually. To top it off, I added a Canaletto canvas on the inside of the lid featuring the Rialto Bridge in Venice. On a personal note, my wife and I have dined many times in the market area to the right of the bridge. Finally, the instrument sounds great!
